cuates (mycuates.com) helps families and friends plan events together. This page explains in plain words what we collect and what we do with it.
What we collect
Only what you enter to plan an event: its name, date, place, budget, roles or sponsors, plus the names and phone numbers you add for guests or vendors. There are no accounts or passwords, and we never ask you to register.
Where it is stored
Your event is kept on your device and mirrored to our database (Supabase), so guests and vendors on other phones can open invitation links. A private owner token stays on your device so you remain the organizer. You can also recover your list on another phone with your number.
WhatsApp invitations
When you invite someone, WhatsApp opens on your phone with a prepared message and you press send. We do not message anyone for you and we do not read your WhatsApp.
Analytics and advertising
We record visits and actions in the app (for example opening the form, creating an event or sharing the link) under a random identifier kept in your browser's storage. It is not a cookie, and these records never contain your name, phone number or IP address. Alongside it we keep the country inferred from the connection, the device type, the browser or app, the language and the ad source when you arrive through a link. When you create an event or take a role in one, the identifier is saved with that event, so those visits can be linked to the names and phone numbers in it until the event is deleted from our servers. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes the identifier from your browser. We also use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure ads, which shares some event data with Meta. You can limit ad tracking in your device or Facebook settings.
What we never do
We do not sell your data, take payments inside the app, or post anything for you. Phone numbers you add are used only to create the invitation links you send.
Delete your data
cuates has no accounts, but you control your event data. You can remove guests or roles in Edit event at any time. Deleting an event in the app removes it only from this device. To delete it from our servers as well, email team@kikorobots.com with your event code and we will permanently delete it within 30 days, including names, phone numbers, roles or sponsors, photos, comments, and the link between visit statistics and the event. After that we keep only anonymous visit statistics, which are no longer linked to your name or phone number.
Children
cuates is for adults planning events and is not directed at children under 13.
